Knitted in the round from the bottom up the mitts begin with a pretty twisted stitch ribbing. Twisted stitches outline the thumb gusset. A single twisted stitch flanked by purl stitches runs along the inside length of the thumb.
Pattern includes directions for both mittens and fingerless mittens.
