Handcrafted on Block Island, Rhode Island, Atlantic yarn is dyed down stairs in their small workshop. Then, they process the yarn upstairs and hand blend each color. Once plied, the yarn travels through a steamer to prevent that annoying back curl. As with Falkland Islands wool, the sheep live in an atmosphere of windy, salty air. This becomes a natural softener for the fiber. Enjoy the hand and the drape of this very unique yarn.
